Introduction

These terms set out the rules for using Muzic, on the web and in the Muzic apps. They form an agreement between you and Muzic.

By creating an account or using Muzic, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use Muzic.

Who can use Muzic

To use Muzic you must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or be using Muzic with a parent's or guardian's permission.

You must be able to enter into a binding agreement, and the information you give us when you sign up must be accurate and kept up to date.

The Muzic service

Muzic is free to use. There are no payments, trials or subscriptions.

Muzic lets you discover and stream music. The audio and the song, artist and album details come from third-party sources such as YouTube and Spotify, and Muzic stores copies of them so they can be streamed to you.

We keep improving Muzic, so features may be added, changed or removed, and a song may stop being available. We do not promise that any feature or song will always be there, or that the service will run without interruption.

Your account

You can sign up with an email address and a password, or with your Google account.

Keep your login details safe and do not share them. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

If you think someone else is using your account, or you notice any misuse of Muzic, tell us through the Contact page.

Using Muzic

Muzic is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

You must not copy, download, record, redistribute, sell or publicly perform the music or other content on Muzic, or use it outside the service.

You must not scrape Muzic, access it with bots or other automated means, reverse engineer or copy its software, or get around any technical protection it uses.

You must not misuse the AI chat features: do not enter anything unlawful, abusive or harmful, and do not try to trick or manipulate them into acting against these terms.

Music, content and ownership

The music on Muzic belongs to the artists and rights holders who made it. The Muzic software, design and brand belong to Muzic.

While you follow these terms, we give you a limited, personal permission to use Muzic and listen to its content. We can withdraw this permission, and it does not give you any ownership.

What you type into Muzic, such as playlist names, mix briefs and messages, stays yours. You allow Muzic to store and use it to run and improve the service for you.

Artists and rights holders

If you are an artist or rights holder and want a song claimed or taken off Muzic, send us a request from the Contact page and choose "Artist: claim or take down a song".

You'll need a free Muzic account to send it. Tell us which songs you mean and how they relate to you.

We review every request and reply to the account you send it from.

AI features and what you type

Some features, such as your mixes, custom mixes, playlist fill and the onboarding chat, use third-party AI providers. To make suggestions, Muzic sends them what you type there, such as chat messages, profile answers and mix briefs.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information in these features.

AI suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong, unexpected or not to your taste.

Third-party services

Muzic relies on services run by others, including YouTube, Spotify, Google sign-in and AI providers. They have their own terms, and Muzic is not responsible for them or for how they work.

Changes to Muzic and to these terms

We may change Muzic and we may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.

If you keep using Muzic after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Suspension and ending your use

You can stop using Muzic at any time.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other people at risk.

Disclaimers

Muzic is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties about the service, its content or its availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Muzic is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
